THIS IS THE LATEST RELEASE FROM Fedex…
“If a customer account (account = location/address in this case)
is flagged as closed FedEx is marking that location and all deliveries as being either held or returned.
For example…If a customer is only open Mon – Thurs and FedEx tries to deliver on a Friday this account will most likely be flagged and all deliveries will stop for the time being. The customer should contact their local FedEx hub and let them know that they are open so that they continue to receive deliveries, we cannot do this for them.
If they can’t find the local hub number the central FedEx customer service number is 1-800-463-3339. 1-800-GO-FEDEX if that is easier to remember.”
